About Us & Our Breeding Program

My daughter, a vet first recommended the breed when she saw a mini competing in agility in Colorado. I wanted a smart dog that would be playful but also a good companion. The mini was just right. Having raised three daughters, we decided to raise puppies that were breed for temperament, intelligence and structure. We also looked at feeding our dogs food free of preservatives and harmful chemicals and dyes. We recommend our dogs stay on Life Abundance Dog Food System which you can try and order directly from at our web site http://www.healthypetnet.com/aussie .

As breeders, we give our puppies lots of socialization experiences and will rate each of the puppies for temperament and structure at 8 weeks. We aim to improve the breed and believe in health screening. We have several of our puppies placed with people competing in agility and prefer to place even our top puppies in homes where they will be well cared for and are the best they can be. We are proud that our dogs have been placed with pet therapy owners and are helping the disabled and elderly.

We ask that you consider carefully the responsibility of owning a dog and especially one with intelligence, energy and devotion. While we are crazy about the breed we recognize the mini is not for everyone. The mini like the standard needs exercise, training and a family to be with. We recommend you check out our web links & resources to see if a mini Aussie is right for you.
